The deal between us.

1. The agreement

These terms are the agreement between you and Clipee (“Clipee”, “we”) for your use of the Clipee apps and this website. By installing Clipee or starting a trial, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use Clipee.

Our privacy policy explains what we do with personal information. It is part of this agreement.

2. What Clipee is

Clipee sends what you copy between Windows PCs you have paired. It runs on Windows 10 and 11, and only on those.

You are responsible for the devices you pair. Anyone who can use a paired device can paste what you copy, so pair only devices you control and remove any you lose or give away.

3. Free trial and buying Clipee

New customers get a 7-day free trial with every feature included. We do not ask for payment details to start it. When it ends, Clipee locks until you buy it. The trial is optional: you may skip it and buy Clipee straight away.

Clipee is sold for a single, one-time payment. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Once you have paid, your licence lasts for life. The price is shown before you pay and in the receipt we email you.

Prices differ by country and are shown in the currency of the country you are in. A country's price is for people who live there and pay with a payment method issued there; we may refuse or correct a purchase made at a price that does not match where you are.

Prices may be shown without tax. Any tax due is added at checkout.

4. Refunds

The free trial is there so that you can decide before you pay. For that reason, payments are not refunded once you have bought Clipee, except where the law gives you a right to a refund.

That exception matters. In some countries you have a legal right to cancel a purchase within a set number of days, or other rights that a contract cannot take away. Nothing in these terms limits them. If something has gone wrong with a charge, write to hello@clipee.app and we will look at it.

5. Using Clipee properly

Please do not:

• use Clipee to break the law or to infringe someone else's rights;
• pair devices that are not yours to pair, or use Clipee to reach another person's clipboard without their knowledge;
• interfere with the service, probe it for weaknesses, or get around its limits;
• copy, resell or reverse engineer the apps, except where the law says you may.

6. What you copy is yours

We claim no rights over anything you copy, paste, save or send with Clipee. It moves between your devices and stays there. You are responsible for having the right to copy and share it.

7. The apps are ours

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to install and use Clipee on your own devices for as long as your trial lasts and, once you have bought Clipee, for life. The apps, the name and the design remain ours. Feedback is welcome, and if you send some we may use it without owing you anything.

8. Changes and availability

Clipee will change. We will add things, and now and then retire something. If we remove a feature you are paying for in a way that matters, we will tell you first.

We work to keep Clipee running, but we do not promise it will never be interrupted. Syncing depends on your devices, your networks and the platforms Clipee runs on, and those are not ours to control.

9. What we do not promise

Clipee is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties beyond those written in these terms. Clipee is a convenience, not a backup: keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

10. Our liability

If we break this agreement, we are responsible for the loss you suffer as a foreseeable result. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for lost profits or business, or for loss caused by something outside our reasonable control.

Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for Clipee in the twelve months before the claim arose.

None of this limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or injury caused by negligence. Nor does it take away rights you have as a consumer.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Clipee at any time. Remove the apps; there is nothing to cancel.

We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you the chance to put it right. If we end your licence for any other reason, we will refund what you paid.

12. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we will change the date at the top and email you if the change matters. A change never takes away a licence you have already bought. If you do not accept a change, you may stop using Clipee.
